Mexicans love to eat insects!
Thus, we designed our barbecue-flavored crickets with bars and catering companies in mind and tested them with real Mexicans. They all loved this product! Potato chips and salty nuts are so last millennium … The new snack for this generation is made from edible insects!
Mexican BBQ goes best with drinks, and therefore, the best place to display this product is alongside beef jerky and other savory snacks! As a savory product, it is a perfect alternative to popcorn or potato chips. You can eat Mexican BBQ as such or use it like a dried onion on top of salads, sandwiches, and Mexican food. As our crickets are not deep-fried but roasted, our crickets do not contain trans fats that are so common in traditional snacks. The most common comment about this product is:
Farmed and roasted house cricket (75%; acheta domesticus) from the EU, spice mix (25%; honey, salt, onion, paprika, black pepper, turmeric, cumin, nutmeg, garlic, cayenne pepper, tomato, citric acid).
