Validity

These Terms and Conditions are valid from 23. November 2020.

General

Crickets Online Oy (FI29044322) online shop, sells products to private persons in Finland and abroad. We reserve all rights to change the terms and conditions, and the prices. All prices include the VAT.

VAT

Prices include the Finnish VAT. We withhold the right to change prices and shipping costs.

The VAT on food in Finland is 14%, and the VAT on non-food products is 24%.

Ordering

Orders are collected from the online shop selection by adding the products to the shopping basket. The order is confirmed by using the check-out functionality in the online shop to pay for the purchase. By confirming an order, you accept these terms and conditions, product pricing, and shipping costs. An e-mail confirmation will be delivered in case an e-mail address is provided by the time of confirming the order. The e-mail confirmation lists the products ordered and the price breakdown.

Confidentiality

Confidentiality applies to all customer data.

The information provided by a customer is used for fulfilling the order or for settling possible disputes. If information is used elsewhere, the customer is notified that the customer’s permission is asked.

PayPal

Bambora

Bambora PayForm (Paybyway Oy, business-id FI24865594) is the payment facilitator of the online shop. The Paybyway Oy is a payment facilitator authorized by the Financial Supervisory Authority of Finland. The payment process is conducted in the online service of Bambora. Bambora or Paybyway Oy is shown as the payment received in the bank account listing and in the invoice. Paying with Bambora is safe. All information is exchanged through secured connections.

The trade happens between the online customer and the online shop. The online shop is responsible for all obligations related to the trade.

With Bambora PayForm you can pay your order by an internet banking account, a wallet, a payment card (credit/debit), an invoice, or a partial payment. The following methods of payment are supported: Osuuspankki, Nordea, Danske Bank, Oma Säästöpankki, Säästöpankki, Aktia, Paikallisosuuspankit, S-Pankki, Handelsbanken, Ålandsbanken, Jousto, Enterpay Company Invoice, MobilePay, Masterpass, Pivo, Visa-, Visa Debit-, Visa Electron-, MasterCard- and Debit MasterCard payment cards.

MobilePay: You can pay with your MobilePay wallet if you have allowed online payments in the settings of the MobilePay application. Payment via MobilePay takes place directly from the payment card linked to MobilePay. If charging the payment from the linked card fails, MobilePay can not be used in the online shop.

Jousto invoice and part-payment is a Finnish service for making purchases quickly and safely. Jousto is for private persons having their economy in balance. With Jousto you will get 30 days time to pay without interest or expenses. After you have received an invoice, you can decide to pay it at once or in parts. You can pay our purchase in up to 36 parts, starting from 9,90 euros/month. Expenses for Jousto part-payment are 3,90 euros/month and 19,90% interest. With Jousto you can pay purchases from 30 to 3000 euros. Aurajoki Nordic Oy issues the credit. Read more from https://www.jousto.com.

You can order an invoice by email.

ORDER AND PAYMENT CONFIRMATIONS

After receiving your order, we will immediately send you an order confirmation with all the information we have received from you.

  • Please check the order confirmation.
  • Save the order confirmation to have your customer number and order information available if you need to contact our customer service.
  • Please check that it has the same contents as the order confirmation you have received from us when you have received the order.
  • In case you have any questions, please contact our customer service.

The method of shipment and shipping costs

The ordering cost includes shipping and packaging costs. When you place an order, our shop card will estimate the cost of the shipping method you have selected. The shipping costs depend on the weight of the products you purchase.

The exact shipping cost is shown to you before you pay your order.

A note for heavy purchases

Shipping costs for international orders are high, and we want to offer the best possible service to our customers. In case your order weighs one kilogram or more, you should directly contact our customer service. In that way, we can manually tailor your order and plan the best shipping method for your needs!

Delivery Time

Our goal is to dispatch an order within 14 days from receiving the payment. The transportation duration after sending the order and the delivery time depends on the shipping method customer has chosen.

In case you have ordered a product that has run out of our stock, we will inform you immediately when we notice the stock out.

Customers will be informed about potential delays in delivery times on the front page of our online shop.

Force Majeure

In cases of force majeure, such as War or threats of war, industrial action (also in supplier companies, on whose material reference Party Bugs depends), which are not foreseeable and unavoidable for Party Bugs, Party Bugs is entitled to cancel the fulfillment of the contract. The customer will be informed about this immediately. If the customer does not agree to the postponement, he is entitled to withdraw from the contract. Any consideration already provided will be reimbursed immediately. Claims for damages are excluded in this case.

Product Returns

You can cancel your order from Party Bugs within 14 days of placing your order without any special reason. The 14-day cancellation period is calculated from the receipt of the ordered goods. If you are a consumer and open a food product you have purchased from Party Bugs, you will not lose the right to cancel your order, but you will be liable for any reduction in the goods’ value. Because the resale value of an opened food product is zero, you virtually lose the opportunity to get your money back when you open our product, unless there is a noticeable defect in the product we purchase.

If you wish to cancel your order, please notify Party Bugs Customer Service immediately. We will register the arrival of your message at the moment of the cancellation of your order. We can then agree on one of the best ways to return the goods you have ordered to the Party Bugs and return the payment or part of the payment to you.

Any refund will be made using the payment method you used when you placed your order in the Party Bugs.

The customer who wishes to cancel the transaction for no particular reason due to the Party Bugs is responsible for the cost of returning the products to the Party Bugs. The customer is obliged to ensure that the products are adequately packaged to protect them from damage during transport. Upon receipt of the return shipment, Party Bugs will inspect the products and reimburse customers for the products’ price that arrived undamaged.

Free Order Cancellation

The customer can cancel their order free of charge if Party Bugs receives the customer’s cancellation notice before Party Bugs has purchased transportation for the order. The time of receipt of the cancellation notice is when someone in our customer service actually receives and responds to the order cancellation notice. We recommend that you submit your cancellation notice in more than one way to ensure that your cancellation notice arrives. Email, cell phone messaging, and a call used simultaneously are safer than just one notification method.

Unclaimed Shipments

An unclaimed shipment is not the same as a returned shipment. We do not refund money for unclaimed shipments.

Damaged or Disappeared Products

The online shop is liable for defects in the sold products according to the applicable law. Please contact the customer support of the online shop immediately in case of reclamation. The consumer has a right to file a dispute in the Consumer Disputes Board in a dispute between the online shop and the consumer.

Upon receipt of the delivery, the customer must immediately check that the delivery has included the products he has ordered and that the products are externally free of defects.

In case the shipment has disappeared or the suffered damages during the transportation, you are expected to give Party Bugs customer service a notice of defects within 14 days of the order’s receipt. In case the shipment has suffered damage during transportation, you should complain about that to the shipping company

Intellectual property and trademark

To protect our images, design, content, logos, product descriptions, or the overall look and feel of your website, nothing contained within the website should be used by a third party without the prior written consent of the owner of the website.

The Applied Law

In general, the Finnish Law is applied to orders placed at Party Bugs. Potential disputes are solved in Finnish courts.

In the event of a delay or error within the meaning of The Finnish Consumer Protection Act found in the delivery of products, the provisions of Chapter 5 of the Finnish Consumer Protection Act concerning the penalties for delay and error shall apply.
